I'm sure this must have been covered before, but its taking months to be finally glowing simply due to other distractions but have eventually completed themeparks and other badges to be ready to begin the FS trials.

I remember some time back it was said that once you are glowing that the visit from the old man is within 3 days and that you should not keep wandering out so the he can find you. So, should I stay at myhouse?

Its only been 36 hours since I became glowing so wasnt expecting an immediate visit, but justed wanted to know if I was in the right place for him to visit me.

Sit beside a player city shuttle, its incredible the amount of people who get visited at 1 while there waiting for their shuttle to arrive

Patience is needed... the old man visited me, while I was checking my harvesters. One thing to say is, do not call friends when the old man appears. A guildie of mine wanted to see the old man too, as he came by, the old man disappeared and came back some hours later... this quest is for you, and only for you

Just carry on as normal - he will visit you. I got visited while browsing a vendor... I have seen people get visited waiting for a shuttle, and while at a mission terminal..... one of my guild matesgot visited when we were in a guild meeting.....

There is a lot of advice about walking outside a city, using a shuttle, logging in and out etc etc - but you will get a visit regardless of whether you follow these guides or not.

Same for the Sith who attact after.... as long as you are out in the open you will get attacked. Day after the old man visited I got attact as soon as I logged on and walked out of my house. (Sith are really easy to kill by the way, I was worried that they would kill me if I wasn't buffed but they are 1-2 shot kills and I auto attacted and killed them before I even realized they were there!)
