Thread: What's more important: FORCE ASSEMBLY or FORCE CRAFTING TECHNIQUE?

I've earned enough force crafting xp to train 2 lines from the crafting tree. I'mtakingforce experimentation for sure, but can't decide between assembly or crafting technique. Which do you think is better for jedi saber crafting? As I understand it,the assembly mod will give youbetter % results on the initial assembly, and the technique mod will make you crit fail less. I'm leaning towards assembly...opinions?

I did not get any free unlocks as I have never been anything but a Weaponsmith (account created June 24, 03), and I did the FS Experimentation tree in the last phase. Now that that experimentation tree has not given me any higher stats than my resources would support, but it does allow me to reach that max with less rolls than it took before (more amazing successes), thus allowing me to put rolls into the other stats.

Unlocked the Assembly tree, but my guess is that if your resources give you 29% out of assembly, I am not sure you would get higher than that. Anyone care to elaborate or clarify this for me?

The techniques tree is pretty straight forward as it plainly states that it reduces your critical failures. I rarely have those given the city I live in.

Repair is a broken mod even in Crafting Mastery?

Not sure it's worth it giving up the skill points to actually master the Crafting Mastery, but I might just do it for pride.

Anyone wishing to clear this up, correct me, or elaborate further on this, please do. I am learning as I go just as most folks are.

I have force experimentation, assembly, and repair. I have noticed no difference with crafting at all. I currently do not have technique so I can't answer for that skill. With that said, Irecommend you take whatever skill mod opens up nextsince I feel that you wont noticea difference with either mod.

I built kiwik clusjo swirls in 0300 chef.

I have both Force Assembly and Force Experimentation. Now I can't remember the last time I crit failed so i can't say that I would see Crafting technique offer huge benefits over Assembly. It is possible that having both will increase your chances of an Amazing assembly over just having a single line but with just Force Assembly I see drastic improvements in amazing success.
