Thread: Crafting FS Pluses Clarification?

This has probably been asked but I wanted clarification. If you are a 12pt crafter, then is it not worth doing the experimentation line? If you craft in a research center is it not worth doing the experimentation line? My understanding was crafting in a research center gives all the pluses you need, and therefore the FS experimentation line is pointless to have because you are already capped. Or maybe a 12pt crafter crafting in a research center is capped and so does not need the experimentation line.The FS plusesonly help if you craft outside of a research center and/or are not a 12pt crafter. So this being the case I would grind the assembly line. Any thoughts?

FS Experimentation is worth it. With it I never get anything below great success. Using Bespin + Research center still gave me moderate success and worse.

Is that without FS experimentation? I usually get a lot of great success without FS exp. How are your amazing successes?

Without FS experimentation I would get moderate success or worse. Usually I would get great success but once in a while those pesky criticals/moderate would still happen. With it I NEVERget anything below great success, which is more important IMO (as ws I d a lot of crafting with loot components and a bad success would ruin a good weapon. Not so important if you are just crafting normal stuff, if you get a bad success just make another). I probably get one amazing every 3rd-5th attempt. Varies, sometimes I might get several amazings in a row.
