I have tried to read the numerious guides but still have nagging questions. It would seem that you can only unlock one branch at a time correct. So say I unlock xx0x, and so forth. That would mean that you cannot finish doing 6 branches in the Four Phase cycle right? You would have to wait until it loops?

Also, from what I read about some of the exchange rates on crafting things, you can basically finish an entirebranch in one day by non stop grinding correct? Under the Technique Tree is Crafting Mastery you need a total of 41,000 Jedi XP to finish. That is at a conversion rate of 5:1 something like 200,000 DE Crafting points. By all means do-able in a single day even though it is very resource intensive.

Please help, I am very lost indeed.

I'm not a crafter so can't comment on their exp conversion.

But in answer to your first question, yes. You have to wait for it to loop around again to unlock all 6. If you got glowy in phase 2, you could go 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, etc.

Yes, you will have to wait for it to loop around again to get 6 branches.

As for the crafting...not a crafter so I dunno..

Anyone?

i asked the same question about 1 month ago..got 1*'d like hell for it.... i mean its simple enough to make the story and the quest to extend to 2 more parts instead of cycling through.....

Crafter here, not sure where you got your numbers but the craft boxes are just as much xp as the others. 1,225,000 for each branch plus another 50,000 for novice. I'll be completing my second craft branch today or tomorrow so I am sure on these numbers.

Downsides to craft branches are resources, cost lots of money if you don't have your own extractors, even if you do you are easily looking at over 1mil resources per branch.

Time, not to put down any other professions, but crafting is not something you can afk play. I use my macros of course but still have to put in long hours to fill. For myself have been non stop grinding for abouta month now for my branches.

Required materials, all of the above is of course after you have completed the quests which requirespecific resources (such as yavin wind), sith ores in large quanties, and/or the completion of minigames.

In summary, don't expect craft branches to be short or easy. That's more than my 2 creds worth. AndI need to get back to my long grind.

I have taken a totally different approach to the JEDI gated profession, i dont believe in all this grind for grinding sake, most of my buddies will not do this either...

but alas i will make a start...

i have unlocked 3 skills so far, and unlocked Enhanced Reflexes.

Vehicular Control
Ranged defense
Melee Accuracy

Working on Melee Speed just now.

But i have not put one single XP into any of these skills. just unlock them, then take the time to build up my little man first...

You see not every single player in game can commit 24/7 to this game, which the devs want us to. I work, i study at university. so time is the factor. I will chill out and take my bloody time (frustrating though it is) at completing this silly thing. but hey! no other Star war MMORG is out there.

"wishes there was"

To win in PVP one must cheat, exploitz, hackz, and above all, have other pals that do the same. Once the foe is defeated, then go "OMGZZZ UZZZ SUCZ, LERN TO PLAY"

And so forth!
