I was interested in becoming a Jedi, so I followed the popular badge-collecting path entitled Guide to Glowing v1.6 and eventually got the 16 badges required to become Glowy. However, upon completion of the last needed badge and even after waiting a day later, my force status is still "You feel a strong sense of the Force within you." Or whatever the wording is for the second to highest status rank.

So, I have done all the required badges (I am sure of this and have double-checked) and then some, so is my /che status bugged? Has something been changed since the making of this popular guide that has worked for so many people? Right now I am guessing my status is bugged, as some people have reported this problem, so I am blindly hoping for a visit by the old man. Then again, he may never come. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

This is a stretch but did you get your badge for your Master profession? I had waited on my respec for awhile only to learn that you will not get the Master badge until you do your respec. That might be a long shot but thought I would throw it by you.

You are exactly right. I never noticed the fact that I didn't have my Master badges; I simply assumed I did because I hit level 80.

Now I have a whole new problem...I waisted respecced (changed nothing) and I still don't hvae my Master badges. Looking around the forums, some people have been having problems not getting theirs either, even after respec.

Assuming I am one of those people, what can I possibly do to get my badges now? Thanks for the help.

log out and log back in....worked for me
