It restarts... just like the old man, if you miss the old man and he leaves he does come back. He just has to wait till the sith attack him again.

so im new to this, after the old man talks to ya the sith are supposed to come and you kill them to find out where they are from by looting right?
well, i was afk, the sith came.... i killed them afk.... they poof'd.... i couldnt search them so i have no idea where they came from.
am i screwd?

ok next problem, they came back... i killed and looted them... i cannot examine the disc until i loot it, but i already did?
i didnt see that in the link so any suggestions on what to do would be great

Well I was very excited about the jedi quest well when it came out. A short time after it came out I talked to the old man and killed the sith but I went to the wp where the last Sith are I killed all of them but I couldn't loot there bodies. I was told that the sith would attack me again I've been waiting ever since the quest came out now I would really like to know why haven't the Sith came back?????

Well, are you sure you don't have what you need in your inventory? Have you checked your crystal to see what it tells you to do?
You might consider submitting a ticket, although I'm not sure how much help that will be.

So the sith spawn for me ... i kill both of them once they are both dead i go to loot them... and i only get some credits and nothing else.
Has this happened to anyone?

Well...
i have experienced a problem similar to yours. the problem that i had is when i dropped both of the Sith thugs, i looted credits from one, and the Disk from the other, but when i looked in my inventory to check the disk out...not only could i not use the disk to recieve the WP to the Village, but my Force Crystal that i got from the old man was gone as well...then later that day, i recieved my second vistit from the old man, but it was as if i never talked to him at all before...he went through all the same motions as he did the first time i met him...however my quest logs still remained the same that i recieved a visit from the old man, and that i defeated the Sith Thugs...are we all bugged?

The old man came and talked to me. Later I defeated the two sith shadowsand looted the data. I activated the waypoint to the encampment and made my way over. As soon as I got close the waypoint disappeared completelybut there was no sithcamp in its place. I can't reactivatethe wpsince the data was destroyed when I usedit, and I can't get to the village without killing the camp of sith.
I know the old man will come if you lose your crystal to the sith ambush, but I still have mine. Will I get ambushed again so I can loot another wp data disk? Do I need to delete the crystal and start all over?
Any help is much appreciated. =)

you may be ambushed again, but this whole thing is bugged to hell so bad it's pathetic. I've been ambused four times already and I couldn't use ANY of the datapads...I'm tired of this bullsh*t
