SHOOT!! u gotta be kidding me. when they first put this system in place it took me a DAY to get it. and that was when thousands of ppl were getting the old man.
can i get a second opinion plz? not that i dont trust you, i just dont want to believe.

it had to reset for publish 19 so it has been reset.

bah 25h thats nothing. My brother has been waiting 4 weeks for the old man so he can do the exit quest. The CSR say nowts wrong, lol.

Do those things such as logging in and out, traveling to player cities, etc..really work? If so, any gauge of how much?

at least for me he has. been here 25 hours now and no sign of him for my second visit (gives mel mission) my oher guildies got it in 6-7 HOURS. and this is right in the middle of double xp too!!!!! is this abug or shoudl it take this long?

This is no bug. I've heard of the Old Man taking a week to talk to somebody. The key here is patience; consider this one of your Jedi Trials.

i have gotten 3 toons fs deleted 1 (personal reasons) and 2 currently fs 1 im not using but 3 toons fs here and when the old man came all 3 (three) times i was standing next to a current jedi. 2 times i was hopping shuttles and came to stand next to a jedi to get a ticket to hop again an old man came 3rd time i was at kimo town lok hutning GDK scale and i called a jedi friend and as soon as he got there and off his bike the old man started talking to me so i dont know if that has anything to do with it

Mine came at the beginning of a friend's wedding, and nearly right after I logged in. The first I knew of it, I'd stepped inside the wedding hall, someone said that the old man's come for someone, and the first thing in my head was, oh crap, not now. The second was, well, that figures...
