Just finished the padawan trails and received my first saber and robe. Was wondering 2 things ..where do i go from here and when is it that I'll get to unlock my 2nd character. Any guidance for a poor newbie will be appreciated!!

Your second character is unlocked once you get intiate and where you go from there is up to you. Just go to create character and select the server your Jedi is on.

i thought you didn't get you alt until you reached paddy . . . has this changed?

You are right and wrong. You do get your alt when you get to paddy. And FYI, finishing the trials and getting/using your saber and robes makes you a Padawan.

If I were you, i'd get on the Jedi forums and Bounty Hunter forums and start working on a plan for grinding and avoiding being hunted. If you don't, you may end up with you're xp so far in the hole that you just give up.

Will I get a prompt to create my alt character and can it be another jedi? Also any advise on which skill sets to concentrate first

There's no promt, you just create it like a normal character. The alt can also become a jedi but you won't get another free character when it reaches padawan.

ive heard to get healing first.....you cant live with out atleast a 1000 health heal....but after that i dunno where you should go....depends on your temp.
