Thread: Oh WTH...I have to loot the datapad before I read the datapad I looted?

The datapad, in my backpack, needs looted before it can be read?
First I couldn't understand the datapad, deleted it, and now this bullsh*t...
How many times do I have to do this stupid sith ambush before I get a damn datapad that I can use?

Dude the same damn thing has happened to me, twice in a row, marking the fourth visit i've gotten from the sith.

you could've just checked the fourms....well i did anyway
i got this from some post, make sure you kill ALL of the attackin sith BEFORE you loot. Im going to test this theory out later tonite.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows that though...
I've done all the "hidden tricks" or whatever they should be called. Still doesn't work.

I had this happen to me just last night. Luckily i read the forums and saw that you can put the datapad into one of your backpacks and use it from there.. i had a travel pack on me and when i put it in there, the quest finally updated and i got to go on to the next phase of going to their camp. Try that before throwing it away.

or u can go to ur house drop it on the floor and then pick it up worked for me
