Ok, so i'll admit I don't have room to moan like most feel they do due to the new EXP changes and conversion rates. However, I managed to bank all 4 remaining branches of FS EXP i required during the double exp week a while back. My plan was simple and (as i thought) effective.

Unfortunetly i was relying on my ability to unlock persuasion in phase one... haha big mistake huh?

So im a MCM/MBH, and to even start this quest you need master medic. Ok i can live with that! I just need to drop some of my CM tree to work through medic and then take the quest, as im only waiting for the next phase to start so i can complete the FS Village quest completely I can live with it, im not happy about it by any sense of the word but i can live with it.

However, what I can't live with is also requiring BE (one branch from it or not) to further be able to complete this quest. Now if i was being rewarded a healing branch, maybe just maybe this would make LIKE ONE INCH OF SENSE. But the fact that im unlocking PERSUASION, whichI personally, fail to make any real connection to making, and using stimpacks WHAT SO EVER it seems a little stupid to me.

Seriously, sort this quest out. I have what? 3 1/2 weeks until the next unlock, now due to this setup (a pre-CU setup i might add) I have to grind again, i was enjoying the fact that i didn't need to grind a single thing until i unlocked Padawan and it was a healthy rest. But I now need to drop one of my elite professions, grind a base profession, unlock the quest, then drop some of medic, then grind BE, then complete the quest. Drop back to 0400 Medic, regrind Combat Medic, then unlock padawan, then start grinding JEDI...

Now i know some people will flame me saying how i should of looked into this, but seriously? Should i always have to assume SOE will have something completely illogical setup to hinder me?

Now i know my moaning here, even if SOE read it and think:

'hmmm... maybe he is right' they'll never release a fix in time so i have the choice to wait through another what? 4 phases then unlock (no thanx im bored of the 'pvp' and new Bh missions already thanx) or regrind my template to forfill therediculous specifications to unlock Persuasion.

Im not very happy.

If you agree post here stating that (maybe SOE will act like they give a damn, but then they get paid either way...)

Some official reply, on behalf of SOE would be greatly anticipated

cant feel sorry for someone that filled 4 branches during double XP and did NOT check what requirments the quest had

but, since you are a noob (i think you are) i`ll help you out, you can get a BE to help you so that you can complete the quest, muhahahaha

lol, oh no im a noob.
I heard about these requirements but was told it was for the healing branch. How is persuasion remotely connected to this quest?

Yes i am a noob, i played SWG for 6 months when it first came out (Played UO, DaoC, AO and multiple free MMo games) and never have i seen something this moronic in a game system. Thats in about 8 years (on and off obviously, i have a social life and responsibilties which come first over games) of playing MMO's.

You say im the noob, i say whoever thought of this quest for unlocking persuasion is the noob, but i guess thats just a difference of opinion.

On another note that does mean i need to find a BE and one which won't rip me off. Dont suppose you know of some helpful BE's on bria? I dont.

dont take so much offense in it, i was partially joking about it

go to bria forums and ask for a BE to help you. Im not sure how its done though, so you might wanna ask here for that, im way finsihed with the village thank god

The quest is all about healing villagers, so having the skill to craft different meds is why BE fits in. It use to be Master Medic because of that row of crafting xxx4 you had to do. The profession changed, so the requirements change.

Not to mention, you can be a MBH/MCM and still finish the quest. All you have to do is have a BE friend who will accept a few credits for resources spent to craft you a set of the winning meds.

Btw, SOE has filters for any topic that says " SOE READ PLEASE!! " .. Do you have any idea how many people like you complain a day? Next time you make a post, have it read " <random complaint here>: Help please! " . Atleast give credit to the people who help on the forums.

Ok, help is appriciated. But from my perspective there is no way to help, unless your saying the requirements have changed and i don't have to be Master medic to take this quest? You see my template uses all my skill points, 2 or 3 branches of FS which i defo won't drop. Don't see myself fitting Master Medic/ CM/ BH in with the skill cap.

Im not sure about the requirements this time around, as my server Eclipse isnt there yet. If you can get the quest with your current template, you could do what I said above and have a friend crafter help you. But if you have to commit to a new template for a day or two while you finish the quest just remind yourself that when you striving for something like jedi, a little more effort isnt a bad thing
