Thread: Need help understanding Village Phases

Just got into the Village last night and chose to plough my various XP into Combat Prowess and Heightened Reflexes
I have a couple of questions:
1) Do the FS skills level up in the same way normal skills do i.e. I get enough XP to learn Novice then train, then get enough XP for 1xxx then train etc.
2) Do i have to master combat prowess AND heightened reflexes?
I have read the sticky at the top of the forum and it makes no sense

First off, you should read the stickied guide.
However, here are the answers that you seek.
In each phase, there are 4 villagers that you can talk to that give quests. Each quest, once completed, unlocks a skill tree. The stickied guide will tell you who gives what quest for what skill. You have to unlock and master 6 of these trees. You don't have to master any one category, such as combat prowess. You don't have to unlock the novice boxes either. They train like any skills once unlocked. Look through the guide again slowly and understanding shall come.

That helps a lot. So the villagers i speak to (eg Whip, i have spoken to him and started his quest) will unlock skill trees?? Armed with this knowledge, i'm gonna hit the stickys again

I have picked this quote out from one of the stickies at the top
"When you have mastered six branches of the Force Sensitive trees"
Does this mean for each branch i unlock, i only need to get to level 4?? I don't have to master the WHOLE of the "profession"??

That is correct. You need to master 6 trees (24 boxes) before the old man visits you again. It does not matter which 'profession' they are in. For example I plan to be 0 4 4 4 Combat prowess 4 4 4 0 Enhanced Reflexes to complete the grind.

You need not master any trees only branches. 6 branches plus at least 2 novice boxes, Since the most brances in one tree is 4. Mastering a tree is a waste of aps since you get no addition skills, or no additional anything other than to be able to say you did it.

Sorry I wasnt trying to call out what you said, I was just wanting to make sure someone didnt think they had to master the tree. Sorry didn't mean anything by it.
