I grouped with another guild mate . I dropped the sheilds he ran in and waited for the commander. We killed 5 commander spawned. He captured him ran out but died. I then recaptured him we ran all the way back to the village and I got credit and he didn't ???

I thought as long as a groupie recaptures him we all get credit, Any one have any input?

Yes -since one person did both things (turned off shields and escorted commander) - then only that person gets credit. After your buddy died you would have had to wait for him to get back and re-escort so that he got credit as well.

yes, as a group, one person has to take down the shields, the other has to escort the commander to the village in order for both of you to get credit.

Both shield guy and the capturer have to first kill 5 sith. If everyone kills 5 sith then the commander will spawn but its part of the mission as written in your quest crystal that u must both help to kill 5 sith. I have seen the mission completed *with both rewards* when one of the 2 has died and been revived and then the commander has been lead to the village.

Personally I think this is the best quest. Even before and after u can still kill sith and sell resources, and it just takes sneaky corvette tactics for the most part. If u see 20 sith spawn - then... run. You are not meant to be able to kill 20 sith thugs at once.
