Thread: Can You Drop Your Mission In the Village If You Take The wrong one??

I took the combat one , but i actually want to do the senses mission - is it possible for me to drop one and begin another without penalty?

No, that's why the npc's say "if you take this quest, you can't take another..."

You can't do anything of the sort to stop the quest, except wait for a phase change. Abandon doesn't even work.

Exactly... once you take the mission you cannot not take any more in the same phase.
You can "Abandon" the mission through your quest journal but that won't change the above - you'll have to wait for this phase to come around once more to take the other quest.
