anyone know why i get the message "you need to be at peace" and can not pass the mist to village?
(yes, i am FS since quite a while back & have been to village before)
i am not overt!
the only thing i can see is that i have 3 unlocks and none of the 3 trees are fully trained. but how can i do that if i can't enter the village....

lol, was that all???
never happended to me before. i was standing there for several minutes and nothing attacked. but i didn't pay attention to red dots on radar either.
nevertheless - THIS IS RIDICULOUS! most common way to get FS XP is via killing! so to be at peace to enter village is really ironic. oh well, i am not gonna go into the flaws of the whole system. Gizmo seems to have it all sorted out in his posts!

This happens to me some times. What happens is that on your trip to the village something tries to attack you, but since yourriding a vechileyou out run it, yet it does not put you at peace when the attacker stops pursuing you. What you have to do to fix it, is attack something close to you does not matter what it is. Once you kill it, then you will be at peace and can enter the village.

If you have anything at aggro you are not "at peace" sounds stupid but that's why.

I had that happen to me once too. An rancor had aggro'd me somewhere around the second row of trees during the trip and the aggro never dropped. It wouldn't let me pass through the mist, and the rancor was waaay behind me. I went over to a Malkloc and killed it and that dropped the aggro.

I love your signature. xxxx bols to go and counting.
I'd rather not count how many I have left...

Thanks
I came up with that to entertain myself. Takes some of the frustration out of this long grind. I'm still looking for a way to word it so it reads like a "Total" Cereal commercial. How many bols to equal one gimped padawan, or something like that.

I often get stuck "in combat" and I found that you can also get out of it by healing yourself. I have novice medic, so I just bacta shot myself and it clears the combat. Works everytime. Granted not everyone is novice medic, but if you are, it's one more workaround.
I long for the day when we don't need workarounds...but as long as we're using computers, I think it's inevitable.
