I have heard that I can get just as good XP getting C12 grenades if I just throw those and don't attack as much as I could any thermal detonator? So should I just drop commando and get something else while using the grenades in my group? But at same time I don't want to be an XP ho

What you could do is go something like MBH... there you can cap rifle carbine and pistol XP then if you still have combat XP remaining you can use nades to finish that off

I agree. I can't get a clear answer either. Apparently you don't really need it if you can use C12 grenades and get those. I seemed to be doing well with the Imperial ones better than the thermal detonators because you can throw them more often and get about the same damage really. Or at least I did. But if I can get the just as good XP from throwing the C12 grenades, that's better for me so I can spend my skill points elsewhere.

You don't need Commando 4-0-0-0 to grind. Use the C-12 greandes if you really wanna get the fast combat xp. As stated earlier though with MBH you can cap pistol, rifle, carbine, combat, and also investigation xp. MBH also has the highest cap on combat xp I believe...

But in a world where grinding is king, I don't see BH as all that powerful. I was a Master. I did all that. It appears Master Pikeman can take on multiple enemies at once and if I have brandy, ahrisa, and canape, among other spices...I can get a lot of combat. True, you get a higher XP cap with BH but it just means you have to go to the village more often to cash in. So what? And weapons only covert 30:1. So I am not really concerned with that anyway. I agree with you on the grenades though if that is true. I am going to use the C12's then.

Master bounty hunter master pistoleer weapons xp conversion to force sensitive xp is;
Pistol xp = 1.2 mil or 40.000 fs xp when converted
Rile xp = 900k or 30.000 fs xp when converted
Carbine xp = 900k or 30.000 fs xp when converted
Combat xp = 900k or 300k fs xp when converted
The grand total of this adds up to a (using fingers to add this all up) 400 point of force sensitive xp.
Apply some c12 nade and master bounty hunter master pistoleer with some carbineer is pretty good but oh the grind does hurt.
So master commando is not needed get some parwan, nade the lair and run forest run.

Go master BH, mixed with something else.
Great/fast way for the grind. Nades give just as much xp no matter what.
