HALF!! AND QUIT BITCHING AND COMPLAINING ABOUT THE GRIND. THE JEDI GRIND IS MUCH MUCH MUCH HARDER. AND QUIT ASKING FOR DOUBLE XP. YOU WONT EVEN GET A 1.1X XP WEEK SO QUIT ASKING. ALL OF YOU JUST STOP.
drink less coffee. the current grind is insane, and far worse than any of the current jedi (me included) had to enure so **edit**.
If you do all six of your unlocks in a row, that makes the minimum amount of time you have to wait to get Paddy 18 weeks (3 weeks per phase x 6 unlocks @ 1 unlock per phase). If you know how to grind efficiently, you can easily get all you xp banked in half that time; 9 weeks.
2 things to do to maximize efficiency:
1.Get into AoE spin groups.
2. Grind two different xp types at once. For example, you will be getting standard weapons xp no matter what (unarmed, rifles, etc.) that you will trade in towards either reflexes or combat. But, if you pick up some Ranger, you can harvest resources from all those pikets the group kills, gainscouting xp that can be turned in forsenses xp,and essentially double your productivity. By the time you master two combat (combat prowess or enhanced reflexes) trees, you will have enough heightened senses xp for your remaining 4 trees.
Grinding about 4hours each night, about 6 nights a week, I banked all needed FS xp in about 6 weeks. I am now wating on unlocks, and it gives me pleanty of time to quest, stock up on pearls/crystals, and just have fun.

Maybe, just maybe FS and Jedi are not professions for you. No where does it say you HAVE to be a Jedi. If the grind is too much for you then play other professions. There is a lot to do in this game. You don't have to grind. The game is what you make it. Instead of whining about the grind why don't you try other things? There is no set time on when you have to be a Jedi. I've been playing for a long time and just now am getting close to the end of the grind. If all I ever did was log in and grind I would have been burnt out long ago.
Sorry but the double XP week was very bad for the Jedi profession. I am not done with the FS grind yet but even I hope they never pull that again. If I can't complete the grind without a double XP week then I wouldn't be doing it period. The Jedi that did the grind before us managed just fine. If Jedi is what you want to do, then you will find a way to manage also. That or quit the grind.

yup i did the jedi grind from start to finish in a year, it is too easy and there are too many jedi in the game now, with luck this has been addressed by the new content taking away glowyness in many and adding more content, asking for a bone and a easier path just means there are way too many of us and we get the nerf bat even harder then usual..
jedi is a acheivement and summat to be proud of, it should take a long time to do, its not a normal prof.
at least with the new expansion we may become stronger once again.. if not many of you will be sorley dissapointed, jedi atm is a laugh, and the weakest profession in the game, this isnt goin to happpen if theres million of us,
kitobi, full temp jedi, master sabre, master defender, enhancer xxx2, healer 3xxx

Those that complain about the Village grind are the same people that migrate over to the Jedi forums and complain that the Jedi grind is to long and that Jedi vsBH is unfair. The same people that complain that the loss of exp on a BH death is unfair. The same people that complain that they want to be able to hunt with their friends and not have to worry about a BH. Look at the Jedi forums now. Most all that complain are POST CU Jedi.Before you make a post about about either the Village grind or the Jedi grind, you need to accept the system as it is now or don't do it. It is YOUR CHOICE to begin the path to Jedi, not SOE's. If you do not like the time it takes, rules set forth, dont do it. Plain and simple. There are Many other templates in this game that are fun to play and do very well in PVP and PVE.

More Fantasy than fictionas this would require capping once a day and about 2x on weekends and people do like to go out with family friends Girlfriends Husbands and wives.
