Here it is in a nutshell:



RULE ONE

Use the force within 32m of a PC or NPC Character - you will gain visibility.


Depending on the faction, number, and the length of force use will result in different amounts of visibility. Once you make the hidden level, your mission (five of them) will show up on the terminals. Your visibility will take up to three weeks to fully go away, the more you have, the longer it takes. If you die, your suppose to be taken off the terminals, visibility reset, and all outstanding missions removed, currently bugged.


RULE TWO

Equip your lightsaber within 32m of a PC or NPC Character - you will gain visibility.


RULE THREE

Wearing your robes or having your lightsaber equiped withing 32m of a PC or NPC Character - will not give you visibility.

(however, if you have an attack set to auto, and an NPC/PC engages you, you will follow the first rule)


RULE FOUR

Assume you are always on the terminals, and play like your hunted. Look at your radar, move your cursor over all the dots, if it says "Enitity" you will not get vis from them, if it says "Character" you will...

TIPS FOR AVOIDING THE VISIBILITY


Hunt alone (until publish 20 then you can group - however, you are still subjected to rule one, which means any non-group member will rat you out)


Vary your routine, and don't travel to the same routes, you will get noticed.


Keep a low profile, don't wear robes, titles, saber untill you feel you can PvP with your Jedi.


Be wary of missions, they generate on the fly, and sometimes will "mask" NPC wild spawns that were there. So, you can sometimes get "seen" by NPC's even if you don't see them at first (the phantom pop-up)


Don't show your Jedi powers to impress the guys, unless you want visbility.


Your decay of visibility takes time. In game or out. SO you do not need to stay AFK in game to make it go away.


Don't panic when you have a visbility accident, it takes alot of force use/attacks to make your level go up the to the mission level.

ie: a drive by while hitting a bol will not make you get on the terms, but still attacking the bol while the guy sits there, yeah - you will get on the terms.

Dont these two statements contradict one another, regarding the equipped saber? One says you will gain, the other says you wont.

If you equip saber/robes in the presence of someone, you will gain visibility.


If you are wearing robes or have already equipped your saber when seen you will NOT get visibility.


If you use your saber in the presence of someone, then you will gain visibility.

ok so i have a question...


I'm not here yet personally, but im very close to jedi and was wondering this:


Once you go through the padawan trials, you get your robes and your lightsaber. While in these trials, right after you get those both, if you equip them...can you gain visibility? I would imagine you do these trials and meet with NPCs to do missions for, etc. So i was wondering if they will give your visibility away. Or perhaps i'm completely wrong. Like i said i am not there yet, and dont know how they go.



Also, can you equip a cloke OVER your robes? I know you CAN, but i mean, will this prevent you from gaining visibility?


Like, if i have a macro that puts a cloak on and removes my saber. Will that prevent me from gaining visibility? Or will the fact that i still have my robes on underneath my cloak still give me away?

If you are not within 32 meters of an NPC or PC then you will not gain visibility when you equip your robes or lightsaber.
