Thread: Bug question about phase 4

The last time we were in phase 4 i did the melee defense quest and killed all the guys i was supposed to kill but my melee defense branch was not unlocked. I was wondering if this bug is still present and if i will be able to get this branch unlocked at all...i would hate to have to do it again and then wait AGAIN for phase 4 to get the other branch the captain offers. I haven't seen anything in patch notes regarding a fix to this as of late. Could someone please help me understand what's going on? I would really appreciate it.

check your datapad, you probably unlocked it.

the quest journal says i completed the quest, but my melee defense branch is still not unlocked

Contact a CSR - they can unlock it immediately. I had to go through the same thing for the ranged version of the quest (although they did bone me on the statue piece I was supposed to get).
