Thread: Possible Reason of the XP nerf

This is completly unconfirmed but ive heard from a friend that the reason for teh xp nerf was due to SOE losing the SWG contract from LA, its rumoured that LA will be taking over the running of SWG fully and SOE made the nerf in an attempt to get players to leave so LA would have a bad player base and lose lots of money for it, as i said this is unconfirmed,but if it is true then this could mean alot of love for SWG and the broken profs

No it was basically due to the fact that people were getting exp and mastering professions at a rate they hadnt wanted. They wanted the group exp to pay out but not as it is now with the single hit full exp. I expect them to go back to the drawing boards and rework another ratio of how exp is divided. It will come back almost guaranteed, but not in the way it was earlier, at least I hope not.

Lucas Arts is already and always have been in charge of approving all publishes...
