okay, I spent 8 hours yesterday mastering marksman, and today I've spent about 2 hours now getting half way to Field Tactics II.

But in all this, it has been very expensive for grenades. I have read that people are just using imp detonators, okay...So why get IV if you can use them by III? Mainly I ask is because I don't want to spend to much time trying to make this grind template, I want to get to the point where I keep my combat exp for conversion.

As well as getting to IV, seems near impossible based on money. I spent 50k getting 3 crates of C12's, and have been using those to grind up. Now I am down to about 12k in cash...so I can't even afford another crate. I've been grinding solo(Not in a group), so I have been getting 7k payouts for the huurton huntresses that I use to grind, but still... Im at the point where im ready to spend my $210 on getting 30 million credits from one of those sites..

You can stop at FT3. The only reason people go to FT4 is for the increased throw speed or they have cheap access to thermals. But I would have started using c22s at novice commando. That should have accelerated your learning and generally they are close in cost.

BUT if you are having cash issues already you are going to have get some somehow before you start grenading. I wouldn't recommend buying credits w/ cash, but do what you think you must do. My grind cost me about 8 million credits. A couple of days in space can net you 2 million fairly quickly.
