Thread: Ok then...TKM/Master Rifleman or TKM/Master Swordsman to take Mellichae solo? Let the voting begin!

Rifles cuz you get conceal shot for the crystals and as many of the sith as possible. i would actually go for a 3rd option of don't solo, get some help, but that wasnt listed for some reason

And remember, that one of the 4 crystals supplies all the others. If you take it first, then you will be able to finish the crystals with just the Rifleman.

neither i was master brawler /master tkm and i got my ass whooped if i had to do it again id go rifle like someone said use conceal to take out the crystals and some of his guards and then switch to sword when you get aggroed and id suggest holding off on making him aggro you as long as possible i got killed right off trying to melee him and failed the quest had to wait for the old man to come again but in the mean time i got up to rifle 4 and got lucky enough for some help to come along the next time and just stayed back and head shot while couple tanks held him up

almost forgot when you get ls novice the two hand sword mods will also help you greatly for leveling 2h saber

TKM + Master Swordsmen + Master Brawler + Uber PH = Mission accomplished.

I helped a guy out as a master rifle alone buy attacking the crystals and that pulled the few sith around the one crystal I was attacking, then continuing on to the next leaving Mel and the other biggie.....
The Jedi-to-be took out the little one while I and a Master Sword took on Mel. The Sword got killed, and I kit'ed the joker to finish him off....it was close.
This was early on, though. I hope its not too different when my time comes....I'm a Master TK now, too,and I think, with an ADK PSG it shouldn't be too hard to take Mel on.....

Rifles, w/o a doubt. I soloed him, myself, as a Rifleman/TKM, but never used any melee to do so. I couldn't find anyone to lend a hand, so I was forced to do it this way.
Conceal the crystals in the proper order (dealing with any henchmen that aggro)-->Kite Mell away from Daktar-->Proceed to conceal Mell, and jump on your speeder when he aggros (and gets within 45 m)-->hop off speeder after he de-aggroes or starts walking and repeat the last step. I didn't even need to kill Daktar.
This should take you less than 30 minutes total. It doesn't hurt to use powerups.

BLAH!!! Takes too long and what does it prove?Grab a good crew with CM or docs sword pistol tk and ganked the bastids. Quickest time we did Mell was 3 minutes. Doing the text book major crystal then the others. My guild has 3 jedi so far. Many of us are FS. Folks seem to forget what combat is about...SPEED. SPEED is a combat multiplier for power. End of lesson.

true but i had a overkill grp of 13 jedi and tk's commandos, bh, swordsmen , fencers, pikesmen and those silly crystals didnt have a chance at healing each other. it was beautiful
