Thread: FS XP Cap question can some one please clarify

Ok well basicly i want to finish up the village before the CU hits, I have 5 rows cpmplete right now however i need to unlock my sixth row durring the upcomming pahse 3. to train that row i need 1,225,000 FS xp , what i need to know is if i start grinding this now and convert xp till i have the needed 1,225,000 xp will i have a cap issue when I train in the first skill that cost 175k.
i asked a CSR and they said that is not recomended to convert more then 4 Xs the cost of the skill, but he didnt clarify if i should only convert 175 Xs 4 or if i could do 450K Xs 4. if this is how im thinking and i save up the 1,225,000 and then train the first skill as 175k i will end up loosing all but 700k anyone understand? can anyone aswer this question for me thanks!

You can put enough xp in for the entire tree, doubt I would want to do more then that.

The cap is currently something like 5 million xp. I don't think they have said if they are changing it for the CU or not. It is a safe bet that they won't make the cap lower then it takes for one tree, as some people still have free unlocks.

I did not know there was an issue. I though you could bank as much FS xp as you wanted. I was hoping to bank 2 million xp for 2 columns (yeah I am optimistic) before the CU. So you think there is a chance that you could lose some of that xp when you learn a skill, beyond the xp that the skill costs?

I gathered up 1,850,000 XP for my last two branches (I ran out of skill points and didn't want to give up any more medic before training the rest). I had NO problem in converting and training.
If I remember correctly, I went from 4/4/4/3/2/1 to complete without an issue, so you should be fine.

Though there ARE a lot of bugs here in SWG, so if you aren't willing to risk it, you might want to not waste the time doing it now...
I am stuck on the 8th padawan trial and can't continue (NPCs won't spawn). I'm TOLD that no one else has this issue, though I wonder about that, so it's possible that you could be the "first" person to lose stored XP. LOL
I'd say that you are pretty safe in storing this amount of XP. 1,850,000 is about 50% higher than what you are asking to convert. I've READ posts of people claiming to have stored the ENTIRE amount for all six branches and converting at once, though I can't confirm those. I CAN confirm that I traded in 1.85 mil at once.

Before you obtain a novice box, the exp cap will bet at 100,000. Twice of what it is worth.
As soon as you train in any novice box related to the FS skills, your Force Sensitive exp cap

As soon as you train in any novice box related to the FS skills, your Force Sensitive exp cap
will rise to 5,100,000 exp. In other words. 5,1 million.
Normal skills as of today can cap at twice of what the IV box requiers.
Normal skills as of today can cap at twice of what the IV box requiers.
