is there a real point to giving this a minimum amount of time, isnt the point of completeing the content, and makeing it a worth while event....
why not make being a jedi, a professon from start....
accepting the jedi profession will cancel all your combat skills out, and null them, as in after you have accepted the jedi profession you can not be any other combat profession. you can how ever select non-combat professions thiswould be the list of so called "combat related professions"(dancer, musician, doctor, combat medic, smuggler, all brawler professions and brawler, all marksmen professions, and marksmen, commando, CH, bioengeneer) crafting, star ship professions, politician professions would be open....
jedi would be sectretive and not allowed to pvp. INLESS there factionn issues them a warrant on a person or persons

I didnt thoroughly read your post, but I'm pretty sure making jedi attainable from the beginning would be a bad idea. Once you accomplish everything and become an initiate, the sense of accomplishment will be great....even though you have a MUCH larger grind ahead of you.
However, I do think maybe lessening the amount of time (6 months) to something shorter would be nicer to the FS guys, like maybe 4 months.

first of all, making jedi a starting profession is a bad idea. The jedi population is already out of control as it is. You think we have Jedi Wars now?? It would be x100. Also, anyone that has invested countless hours of playing and grinding, doing mindless tasks to achieve jedi would quit immediately, myself included. And thats a lot of people. To me this just sounds like the idea of someone that wants jedi, but doesn't want to work for it. Never gonna happen. Ever.

If youi want a jedi that much go play KOTOR 2 or Jedi Knight 3. If you make jedi a starting prof then everyone in the game would pick it
