Okay, its really not as impossible as some people say it is, especially with all the damn bugs. It may take a little luck with all the remotes but, the turrets, the capture, and the waves of sith are not all they're said to be.
I'm a CL 80, and i grouped with my lil bro whos CL 59, and me and him completed the mission early this morning by our lonesome. We landed the 4th closest base from the village and made it back to the captain with 30 minutes to spare on the poison. This mission may have its occurances of bad luck to some, but honestly, it was not that hard at all, the commander may be a bit tedious with the mountains, but its just plain simple.
And no i'm not bragging, i'm posting this to see if anyone has any specific questions about the mission, and not just "what do i do?" questions.

It's all on the luck factor. I did it 3 times. On the last one I finally got it, but it was based on the amount of attacks... duration of time between the attacks.. spawns.. etc. Congrats on the mission but your thread is NOT true for everyone... you just happened to be one of the lucky ones.
The best group of players I did the mission with was during my first try and we failed 900m out. It all depends on the resilence of the Commander.

I have to agree with you on this. I did the 3rd FARTHEST base from the villageon eclipse and we still made it. We walked the guy 5.9km. I had a little more help than you so taking down turrets and sith was easier but I found the commander to follow just fine. One tip for those of you that still need to do this quest and plan on walking the commander. Go to Options, Controls, uncheck auto run. This way you can use auto run but youll be walking the whole time and wont have to hold shift. We never slowed down for the commander, not even going up hills and he kept up with us just fine. As long as you are walking you should be ok.
Captain Sarguillio is the starter for this quest.

My problem is the 550 damage 10 times in one second, and DB turrets.
I'm master defender, I soloed necrosis, but a turret knocks me dead in a blink of an eye

The 2x I escorted the Commander he turned back everytime we started down a hill or up one and anytime i got beyond 12-14m from him. Both times I got him on the other side of the village fog and died...almost the exact same spot both times. I went with a group of 3 the first time and group of 6 the next. It seemed as if the Sith attacks were more frequent with the larger group but I couldnt say for sure. One final note, we did the lamda base first and beta second...the 2 closes bases on my server.

IMHO that is the operative part of this post. I presume there weren't 6 other groups of 4 or more people that had been waiting for 6 hours.... thats the hard part. Having your mission stolen 3 times right in front of you.. now that is the hard part.

DaalinMoon what do you mean ammount of attack and etc.? you mean how many sith spawns there? cause if thats the case, me and my bro just healed like crazy, there were atleast 40 shadows that spawned on us, and they kept coming after we got the commander.
If your talking about how many people had done that base before? we were the first to do that base, for the server had just come back up after server reset and new phase 3.
or maybe i'm missing something, what are you saying with the luck?

i have done this mission in the past, and the difficulty of the entire base goes down if you only have 2 people as opposed to an entire group.

I've done the quest with the same amount of people everytime and there was extreme differences in how often we were attacked on the way back to the village. On the last trip we were hardly attacked.
As for spawns at the base, they are completely random. Sometimes there will be 5 at a time .. other times there will be 10. In fact one of the times I was doing the mission 12 Sith actually spawned right when we were taking the commander out of the base.. aggro'ing the escorter quite quickly. On the other hand the other times there were no spawns.
You are making the assumption that the base runs the same for everyone, which it most certainly does NOT. Ask anyone.. the base is unpredictable. The easiest way, if a player has a fair enough template, is to SOLO the mission... as long as they get passed the turrets, sith, etc. from what I've heard.
Also the captain seems to have problems going up hills for some poeple.. while I've talked to others that have walked 20-40m ahead of him the whole time and had absolutely no problem what-so-ever.
All I am pointing out is the fact that this quest is not what your title claims for everyone. Which it most certainly is not. If it were you would not see so many complaints. Does this make players that complete the mission better? Heck no.. I have seen many good players fail this mission already!
