Ok. I just recently got the village and I've unlocked the combat novice from trading in a bunch of general xp from things like unarmed combat, 2h combat, etc. Now that I've done this I'm wondering if its necessary to get involved in the Phase quests like #3 which is currently active on Bria.
Do I have to do these? Or are these just quests that have an advantage to get you more FS xp towards your skill trees? I guess I'm confused on the purpose or reward you get when you finish these quests for each Phase 1-4.
Basically I'm wondering if you can just grind your way up the skill trees by trading in existing combat xp, etc. or are these quests a necessity. And if they are, is there a 'recommended' way to approach them since I'm only a novice combatant and solo quite a bit (MTK, MSword, Doc 4000).
Thanks!
PS. I've read the guides/FAQs but they explain how to do this stuff, just not the specifics like I've mentioned above.

So waht you didnt get is this:
Novice boxes can be trained without unlocking them
The Branches of a Tree have to be unlock by a Quest.
Per Phase you can do 1 unlock of 4 possible.
There are 4 Phases.
3 weeks of Server Uptime is needed to switch the Phase.
PS Read again the Guide of the Village
