Thread: Picked up wrong quest in this phase. Out of luck?

I had been waiting for Phase 3 for a while now so that I could unlock Luck (which, irritatingly enough, I had unlocked pre-CU). But I had thought it was Quharek who unlocked Luck, not Eozlin. So I picked up the wrong quest it would seem.

Is there ANY way for me to back out of Quharek's quest and take up Eozlin's?

I think the answer is "no", but I just wanted to double-check. I'm guessing thatI just have to let the quest die at the end of the phase and wait until Phase 3 comes around again?

I'm afraid not. You're stuck with what you got for this phase. Would be nice if you could though... I guess that just shows you to do some research before taking a quest.

Well, that's just it. I thought I had done the research.

But that was way back in Phase 4. I guess I should have refreshed my memory.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Wow, I didn't know youtake quests you've already completed. Does this mean that you'll get the reward again too? If so, I wouldn't mind running the health crystal quest every time it comes around

I dunno. All I know is that I had unlocked Luck before the CU and was working toward Luck 2, and now they zapped me back to the beginning.

I sent a ticket in to the CSRs but - gasp! - no one ever responded.

It wouldn't be right to be able to drop and pickup quests during each phase. Sorry but aJedi is supposed to plan ahead and gather all facts before making decisions. I think if you had been properly prepared you wouldn't have made this mistake, no offense. I really hope that the Village never changes in that regard otherwise it would seem SOE caters to the people who don't care enough about the Jedi profession to read through the information throughly. Good luck with the CSR ticket though.

Ouch man. Ironic that you were going to pick up Luck and ended up with this...

Just pick up the skill you've started, get your unlock, start your Jedi grinding, and swing back to get Luck when the village hits phase 3 again.

I support removing Jedi from the game rather than leaving them as represented in NGE

Ummmmmmm, yeah......that is what a Jedi is supposed to do. 'Cause I'm really a Jedi who deeply cares about and thoroughly studies my profession, and am not just some dude with a job and a family who'splaying a video game in his spare time. The Force knows we don't need riff-raff like that in here.

I made a goofy mistake and all I asked was if there was a way I could correct it without waiting another month or two. No offense, but it sounds like you're taking this game way too seriously. May I suggest that you get out of the house for a few hours?

Dorean - heh, you're quite right. It is ironic. But I'm not unlucky as much as just guilty of poor memory as to the quests handed out by Eozlin and Quharek. As a Jedi (and one to whomSOE shouldn't cater), I should have prepared better.
