Talk to Paemos in the village if you are glowing. One of his options will tell you how many you have. If you dont have any then he will not even give you the option.

Basically, it works like this.

You have a max of 8 holo unlocks... if you unlocked all 8, then you get 6 free unlocks...

the formula is # of holo unlocks you've done minus 2...

So if you did 3, then you get 1 free unlock... 5, 3 free unlocks... 2... no unlocks..

ok i hate to sound like a complete newb, but how do you get the free unlocks? and what is these holos everyone is talking about?

Quick and simple

Pre Pub 9 to become a jedi you had to master a certain combination of proffessions.

Holo's = Holocrons (used in pre publish 9 to tell you a proffession you needed to master in order to become a jedi)

For every 2 Holo profs mastered pre publish 9 you would receive 1 free unlock.

No you cannot use holos now to get free unlocks. Unless you were mastereing profs pre pub 9 you dont have any.

Didn't have this option myself but at the time of Pub9 2 people in my guild did, they where prompted at the time they finished there first quest for there unlocks, I'm pretty sure however you will not get that option now since most everyone has 2 masters before entering the village.

Real target lock is needed
More Profs are needed
SOE and all the Nerf people need to realize that a true balance is an unbalance.

As the title suggests, how do I find out if I have any free unlocks. Does anyone know what counted towards free unlocks? I had 2 holo grinds. Is that enough? Thank you, before hand, for your replies.

i did two holo's also and did not recieve any free unlocks

Im pretty sure that you had to use your 'holo grinds' back when the village started up, and no later than like a week.

I got mine fine!

Untrue. I used my 2 free unlocks about a month ago after a very lengthy break from the game.

So, for those of us that havent hologrinded, it will take at least 2 cycles to get the FS village exit quest? So the deadline is not 14 weeks anymore, it is 22 for those who havent hologrinded...right?
