Before you unlock you can drop, but you will also lose all the exp that was required for that box and will need to regrind it.

If I drop the FS skill boxes i already filled in... I can fill em back when I want em again... right?
Just wanted to make sure that the branch will stay as unlocked...
Fortunately, i have enough fs xp to fill em back.

Yes, the branch "stays unlocked" but as soon as you hit Jedi you will always have to have six fully filled branches.

I am not sure that you can drop FS boxes. Can someone confirm?

yes u can drop them thats what i did but dont coz there is no point u just have to grind them again but up to u.

you can drop after you become jedi as well, BUT you have to fill up the entire other branch before you can drop even one box....
hence you always have to have 6 branches filled at any given time
