The old man visited me i the crystal
next day i get caught unprepared coming off a shuttle
i lose crystal
i die
as my pet was guarding me and present he was attacking the sith and doing a good job
i clone 40 m away from where i died
pet still doing great
old man pops and gives me a new crystal
me and pet procede to kill sith
and loot bodies
no data pad and guest journal show the shadow sith is completed ???
any ideas on how to fix this little problem ?

Try going to the village anyway. You never know, it might work...

didnt think it would as the WP i need is to the sith camp

Wait and see if the sith come again to attack you. If they dont, concider it bugged and send a ticket in.
If you die or even just incap while being attacked....either way you wont get the waypoint or data disk from them. You have to wait for the entire process to start over.

Yes, that is indeed the case. The sith should come knocking on your door soon...
