This is a message for anyone who is having a hard time beating the melee accuracy quest or having a hard time finding a group to do it with. After reading this you should be able to beat it with only two or three people. Much better than having to get together a group of fifteen. The first thing you need to is to find the sheild codes disk and take it back to the captain. You find this disk on sith that spawn around the basesNOT the sith that come when you bring down the sheild. After you have obtained the sheild disrupter thing thatthe captainmakes out of the codes go to the corressponding base (the waypoints are posted in the forums on occasion just make sure they are udated waypoints as thebases shift names ie gamma becomes lambdaetc).

Part 1 The Sheild: Have your party stand about 90m (the distance is soyou dont agro the sith that spawn)away from the front gate of the base (at least one of your party should be a commando to make part 2 easier). The person with the sheild disrupter then walks forward and turns off the sheild. After the sheild is down run back to your group. Sith will spawn on the sides of the bases and collect at the entrance.

Part 2 The Gate and Turrets: After the sith have collected at the entrance wait for their despawn it happens approximately 2 minutes after they spawn. During this window when there are no sith run in and kill the turrets and the gate. If you cant kill all the turrets and the gate all at once (thats why its good to have a commando) destroy what you can and run away before the sith respawn and then repeat after the despawn.

Part 3 Killing the Sith: After theturrets and the gate are destroyedand the sith despawn again run into the base and hide at the back, make sure you turn on your overlay map (control+m). Destroy the gate to the commanders area first, then lurein one sith at a time and kill them. After five kills the commander will appear this is when the timer starts. As farasI can tell the time lasts about 35min so get a base thats anywhere from 6800m and closer.

Part 4 Run Run Run: After the commander spawns the person who did not bring down the sheild should talk to the commander. As soon as that conversation is done wait for the next sith despawn and run out of the base back toward the jedi village. You cannot lose the commander or you will fail and if you dont make it back in time the commander will die from the poisen he injests.

Part 5 Getting the commander back: This is where having three people is good. One person runs the commander back (I really mean runs as on foot, like old school swg) another person scouts ahead as to spot and kill any possible danger to the runner and commander. The final third person guards the rear to protect against the sith who spawn and try to kill the runner and commander. Dont worry their easier than the base sith. If youare the runner DO NOT stop running unless you have to wait for the commander to catch up (dont let him get more than 50m behind you). The success of the mission depends on you keeping up a stead pace toward the village. Be prepared for a long run 6800m over ruff terrain can be as much as a 34min run.

Part 6 Your Done: If everything goes according to plan you arrive at the jedi village in time with the commander alive. The runner only needs to run him to the middle of the village to finish the quest. Then the people who just completed their quest should talk with the captain for your reward (its worth it).

Hope this helps if you have any questions post and ill reply.

Also, it's good if the person trailing the commander can be a ranged prof ... just /follow the commander and aim at anything, you'll keep up unless you get caught on terrain. I took the shield down and I'm master rifleman, so guarding from there was truly simple, especially when the Sith keep trying to go prone in ranged combat and you just leave them behind.

...has mastered the Pilot profession

Thank you so much for posting!! Question, my problem continues to be just obtaining the darn shield code discs. Can you offer any advice on pulling the pirates? My husband, who is master smuggler, lvl3 commando died like three times (paying to get buff everytime! - agh!). With /conceal, I was at least able to walk up to one, whack him on the head, /burst, and see who stuck around for me to melee. This was successful 2 ot of three times, untill I, too was killed. The only loot was an energy box thingy and a lovely weathered vest.

Any tips/advice would be awesome!

Good guide

For all those who are still stuck on this mission, you have Five days left to do it !

Dont give up!

I managed to get it over and done with, took me 5 trys and more than 2 weeks of working at it to get it done... but when my guild and me pulled the initial fight off properly and it started going smoothly, it became one of the most fun things ive ever done

That quest is really one of the coolest i have done. Tryed it today with my guild because 2 people needed it. Had a hard time at first but once we figured out a strategy much like this it went nice, one runner and 3 people on bikes scouting the area. The only thing that was not working was the end. We were at the bearrier, runner did run trough, commander disapperaed, mission failed Heard its a known bug. Did send a ticked but got only a reply like "sorry, known issue, please report it as a bug so we might fix it..."

So be aware that it might fail at last, wich is then very disapointing, but to that point it was great fun, we had docs reviving, rebuffing, got slaughterd but then found out a strategy, had a tense run back to the base, cleared the sith pirates and defended our runner and than when we thought we did it it was over... Could not have been time, as we were running about 24 minutes only.

Would like to have more quests like these, but please fix this bug, its hard enough at it is!

fastest time to do this mission is to get a remote frequency to the base nearest the village. from there you can actually do the whole thing, without needing to fight a single thug, in approx 10 minutes flat. just let the shield dropper die and the commander will clone without needing to fight any thugs.

its bad to let the person who brings down the sheild die because then you do not recieve the extra gift that the captain gives when both people survive. THE MIND BUFF CRYSTAl! It works the same as avaserian or a dancer buff (+900 to mind)but takes 3-4 days to recharge.

skez... in terms of obtaining the shield disks your husband should really be a master commando and use burn to continually damage the sith while you use body shot. The trick is to lure one off at a time, do not agro the whole group. It is best to be a master of an elite class but if your not recruit a few people to help you. Then you might be able to take two at a time. Dont get impatient, it only took me killing two of the spawns to obtain two disks. Good luck.

When I went through it, I DID die, and we both still got the mind buffing crystal. Me and about 10other guildies drew the thugs away from the runner, and I got killed in the process, but I still got both rewards.

Would also like to suggesting finding a ranger who can craft Dathomir camo kits. Thus /concealed, I walked right past the Sith, took down the gates, and grabbed the commander. Camo also keeps creatures and NPCs from aggroing as you walk back to the base.

err, yes you do receive the mind crystal. but you believe what you wish. i've only run with at least 15 groups from last phase 3 and this phase 3 to help them get their rewards. everytime i've explained they need to do let the shield dropper die, and every time they've all got their mind crystal and the saber crystal. However, as i said, believe what you will. You carry on doing it the hard way, me, i'll do the easy route that requires a lot less time.
