Interesting story for everyone....
So the other day I'm out at the Tusken Fort looking to score me some damage crystals. I hear the spawns are b!tchin', so I boogie over there as quick as my yacht and speeder will take me. I get there, and there's four people including me...this makes for a very target rich environment. I loot tons of stuff- clothes, resources, tanning schematics, crap, color crystals...but still no damage crystals. I've been there for an hour now, kinda getting frustrated. I'm ignoring the raiders, snipers and commoners and going after the chiefs, captains and warlords still hoping to score me a damage crystal. They're spawning very frequently, and I'm having a ball killing the dirty lil' buggers. So I'm out topside on the fort, and I see a chief and captain spawn somewhere down in the caves. I run my @ss off to get there before others, and successfully hack the crap outta them with my power hammer. Little did I know how much I was angering the Tusken gods.....
As I'm looting the corpses of the chief and captain, I notice another tusken seemingly coalesces out of thin air in front of me. So I'm thinking "Excellent! maybe it'll be another warlord!". Oh, how sadly was I mistaken. It's an Observer. Now, I'm a Master Swordsman and I haven't gone up against an Observer as one. I have tried it as a TKM and a Master Pikeman, both with dismal outcomes. I check out his resists...15% Blast with Medium Armor! Score one for me! So I figure let's start hacking away. I put 2 bleeds on him and just let auto-attack work its magic.
I notice he's decimating my mind...so I drink some more brandy and eat some canape. Mind heals up some. Now I notice he's decimating all my pools at the same friggin time...I start to worry. I heal myself up time and again...and my mind starts to slowly dwindle. Now I'm downright scared....so I turn tail and make tracks to get the fock outta dodge. I try and stick a posture down on the b@stard so he'll be delayed a bit...no success. Last resort - Burstrun.
WHEW...it works...he's hanging out like 190m away from me. I let all my pools heal up and I'm ready for Round 2. I come flying at him with my Power Hammer held high, ready to come crashingdown on his skull with all my rage and fury!!!!...and he squeezes off an /advancedStrafe2 at me for 11,741 points of damage from 60m out. There is a resounding thud throughout the wastelands of Tatooineas my incapacitated body hits the desert floor. The Observer slowly mozies onover to my limp body and deathblows me. I'm just too stunned at this point to even care about the deathblow....that b@stard hit me for over eleven-THOUSAND points of damage. Armor hole or not....that's ridiculous. At least I can look back on it and laugh now.
Moral of the story kids...don't play with Tusken Observers.

Doesnt seem like this belongs in the Force Sensitive section but, since its here I'll comment anyhow.
You are not the first to report some bad mamba jambas hangin' out at Fort Tusken. Maybe the Tuskens are sick of the y'all havin' a free run of the joint.

Eh, I figured I was hunting for crystals so that was enough of a correlation in my mind to post it here.

It's simple revenge. How many poor mobs have been one-shot killed with /advancedStrafe2?
Seriously, since the bad guys got their specials, things have been interesting now and then. Adds a little something to combat, though 11k damage is somewhat severe. I think the Devs forgot they upped the mobs' damage when their specials didn't work, so now that their specials do work, and the multipliers are applied to that increased damage...

LOL... and I thought being hit with 3600 points of damage by a Sith Shadow Thug using a Spray Shot was bad. At least I was still on my feet after it....

Same thing happened to me, except i was all alone out there. I came out there looked at the overhead map, the whole fort was just one big red dot, so i go in, kill some tuskens, then the observer punk shows up and starts thinking he is a badass and stuff, so stupid as I am, I start hitting him, getting about 2 warlords and some captains on me. So there i was with my @ss getting handed to me by 6 tuskens, they incapped me and I used ForceOfWill and just burstran out of there, and the observer just keeps following me, same things as you, using some mumbo jumbo trick cutting my health down by 2/3. Figured it was time so split and just rode of.

Friend of mine was doing the jediknight trials once, where you have to kill the Rebel read admiral on the corvette.
He blocked most of the shots, but what he didn't block was an advanced strafe shot from that read admiralof 13,478 point of damage.
Instant death, 200k XP loss and the most annoying part, we had to get new tickets.

LOL! i TOTALLY feel for your friend. I was sure enough pissed without losing any hard-earned xp!! dang! that's gotta hurt.
I still have to know HOW those guys can shoot for that much damage and we're lucky if we hit for like 5000dmg...and if it's all in the gun, where, FOR GOD'S SAKE, can I buy five?!?!??!

Hehehe, that's a good story. I have a similar one. I went to the fort and just outside the cave entrance was a tusken captain with almost no health and a tusken witch doctor. I easily capped the captain. The witch doctor had about 165k out of 175 Health so I started taking shots at him with my launcher pistol, he had heavy armor and 35% blast resists. I had to run away and heal up about six to seven times over a 45 minute period and my 90% composite got some serious holes in it. I tried using some Imperial test PSG's but he could whack them in about 15 seconds. I got him down to 42k health and then tried to lure him to the entrance because my chestpiece was getting totally wiped out. Right as I get him to the entrance he got stuck on some rocks and became unattackable. I tried going into the fort and bringing out a train of tuskens and using fan shot and grenades but nothing would get the witch doctor free again so I finally gave up...
