Last night I helped kill Mellichae with 2 friends and thought I would pass on some information.

My friend and I are bothMaster Rifleman / Master TK ... but we did not use our TK skills much.

We had a third friend who I believe is pistoleer... and may not be master.. not sure.

No docs... no Jedis... just the 3 of us.

I know a lot of this has been previously documented, but you can never have too much information.

Camp Layout:

When you first approach the camp there are Four "Power Crystals" at each corner of the camp and ONE TENT in the middle. There are approximately 10 Sith, plus Mellichae, and his friend Daktar (spelling ?). The Sith are a combination of Thugs and Mercenaries. (These Thugs areNOT the super tough ones like in Sarguillo's mission.) Where these people "hang out" varies. Most of the Sith were in the middle near the tent, as was Mellichae and Daktar at first.

Note that as we took our time and scouted the camp, that Mellichae and Daktar walked around every few minutes, away from the middle, off by themselves sometimes. Daktar in one direction, Mel in another. Sometimes close to 60m from the camp and the other Sith.

General Plan (details below):

1. Take out Green Crystals

2. Take out Red Crystals

3. Kill the Sith Thugs and Mercenaries

4. If Daktar moves away from Mellichae a good distance, take out Daktar.

5. Leave Mel for last and take him out.

Strength of the Enemy:

The Sith Thugs and Mercenaries are easy for Master Rifleman, as is Daktar.

I was in decent composite armor, and was using a Mind buff, Vasarian Brandy, and Ahrisa.

I lost almost NO HAM DAMAGE to any bar killing the Sith and Daktar.

Daktar and I stood 60m apart shooting each other non-stop and I came out of it unscratched.

Mellichae, of course, is the problem.

Kill the Crystals first:

Each power crystal has 40K "health". There are TWO green ones and TWO red ones.

The same colors are opposite each other (red, green, red, green).

Split up, and take out the two green ones first.

Then take out the two red ones last.

My friend and I WERE able to conceal shot the power crystals. If no one is near them, use Strafe Shot2 (or whatever).

Killing the Sith and Daktar:

Not sure if Mellichae always walks away by himself or not, or if we were just lucky. Myfriend (other Rifleman) stayed on the side of the camp where Mellichae had wandered off justkeeping his distance andwatching him... making sure he didnt head back to bother us.the other two of us easily killed the Sith and Daktar. Pretty much used only Strafe Shot2 or Head Shot 3.

Killing Mellichae:

Once everything else was dead, we turned our attention to Mellichae. I decided to be the brave soul who found out if Conceal Shot would work. It does, but that was not how we ended up taking him out. I crept up to 64m and started conceal shotting Mel. He took very small damage, andhis Health bar was going down little bit by little bit. But the problem is he walks around a lot. He would either walk out of range or walk toward you, making this method a Pain In The A.

Eventually, Mel aggroed me, and thats where things got very interesting.

Now once before,I had tried taking out Mel by Kiting him, but he seemed to run faster than me (didnt look like Force Run) and eventually he caught me and killed me, even though I inflicted a lot of Mind damage.

This time however, he began the "walk, run, walk, run" thing where he would run at me for a while, then walk for a bit, allowing me to get back to 60m distance from him. I was kiting him really well when I screwed up and ended up going up a hill too slow. He caught me and killed me after I had him down to approx. 15% health. While I was cloning, my friends were able to finish him off the same way.

The bottom line is, we were able to kite him for the victory. I would recommend keeping your bike somewhere near where you are kiting him in case he starts closing, you MAY be able to escape. Either that, or save your Burst Run until you really need it.

By the way, I DID try beating on him as TKM, but that didnt accomplish too much. I think Ranged masters will have a much easier time with Melichae than strictly Melee types.

Good Luck, and be careful out there!
