Well I became FS tonight at 7:30...now waiting for the old man. Any tips?

Take a few shuttle trips from player city to player city.


Or just... do whatever it is you normally do. He'll come. If you miss him, he'll come again. And again. And again.

Yep just go about your business, nothing you do will make him come sooner. Just don't spend all your time in NPC cities , and stay off Kashyyyk until after you have access to the village!

Because the sith camp can spawn in a part of the planet you can't get to.

oh i was wondering why i was seeing sith there in the hiils behind the invisable walls at the strprt the 1st week. huh i was thinking there was some new quest that involved them there

My advice is, on the second and third day after getting glowy, make sure you logoff in an open area or player city (and away from hostile mobs). Do not logoff in a perma-city. And when you logon for the first time each day, just spend 15 minutes wandering around. Don't really do anything because the old man seems to hit almost always during this time. Finally, if he doesn't arrive within 15 minutes, logoff then log back on and hold for another 15 minutes. If he still doesn't come, repeat the next day. Everybody that i've talked to that has done this method has never had a problem or glitch.

Don't sit around waiting. Just continue to enjoy the game and next thing you know, ther he is. Waiting for the old man is the least of your worries at this point. Good Luck.
