Thread: Melee vs. Ranged w/ Jedi...

I was wondering which you all think would better supplement my jedi character once I actually become a jedi: melee or ranged. I would prefer going melee but I have heard that as a young jedi, having a ranged profession to take care of BHs really helps. Is there that much of a difference between the two? Should I let this factor decide what template I use to grind my fs xp? Any helpful advice is greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't worry about that at all. If you hunt smart BHs won't be an issue in the first place. Aside from that your grind is going to be melee-based as is your future profession so other than Ranged defense get all the melee enhancements.

depends . .the ranges speed and accuracy are supposed to affect Jedi powers like Force Lightning

but most stick with the melee mods and both defenses
