When you hit padawn you just get a whole new set of skills you can learn. You keep your existing template and as you learn your new Jedi skills you have to free up skill points (if you haven't got any spare) to learn your new skills.

Correct.. Once you finish the trials you get your force bar, padawan robes and can now weild a saber. As you gain exp for boxes you will need to slowly drop your current profession to free up points to train. 8 points for each novice and 1st tier box, 6 points for each 2nd tier box, 4 for each 3rd, 2 for the 4th as well as 1 for the Master box. Many people drop their skill as soon as they hit padawan thinking if they bring down their level they can kill things of lower levels easier and gain exp. Just drop as you need training and grind in a group as groups do not give visibility anymore. <--that is a gift in itself. Imagine grinding on endor by yourself for hours on end lol

1 last question please

Lets say i unlock range acc now, does this means i need to finnish that branche in the phase week, or can i just do it whenever i want. So lets say in phase 3 i want to get some xp for range and want to get a box teached is that possible?

You can gain the xp and train in any phase. Only unlocking is phase specific.
