Why not? The players hold the cards cuz we hold the money. Just like with the exp nerf if we want it changed all we have to do is have enough people cancel and then they change it or else they have no income. However, getting everyone organzied and willing to quit playing the game for a change is hard.

Hologrind is better than this crap atleast we will be learning about a new profession and understanding of how the game works rather than killing a picket, bol, what have you for the 30,000ths time.

holo grinding killed professions and the economy. No one learned any skills because they just grinded the profession and never really used any skills. At lease this way you can keep the profession you like and still grind FS.
I grinded ~5 professions before I decided to keep doc and merchent for my guild. Then I had to start a second account when I buff packs started and I could not hunt my own avian meat . Now , even crafters can do FS skill points.

Now a great weaponsmith does not have to chose to give up his business to grind jedi. he with the help of his guild still do FS quests and make a great product for the user community.

The grind was not very good in the old days. you would have to do start on newbee creatures with every new weapon and there was not grouping mass exp. If someone helped you, you only the the % of the damage you did. If you were a newbee that was very very little. Image getting 5 and 10 xp per kill. Is that what you remeber of the old days?

Had to check you subscription date and it shows 2003 . So, you do remember the good old days. I started when the game started and the grind was bad. what do you remember about your holo grinding days? If you liked it, why did you not finish it? Just wondering, to me the system now is LOTS easier and I get to keep my favorite proffections.

Well a lot of Noobified players were not around to see what hologrind did to the game so they will cry for it to come back. Anyone with common sense knows hologrind is gone for good. Some people have no common sense so the post hologrind requests.

Lol i remember logging on a number of times, go to my favorite vendor to purchas a new wepon or amour only to find that the player had droped the proffession to holo grind. Holo grinding was killing this game, its what killed the community. players figured out that once they had 80% composit armour they could go out kill a million picketts solo and master a profession in a week buy another holo if needed and move on. The only thing that the holo grind did well and im not sure if it was part of the mechanics but there you could always find other players easily that where doing the same non popular profession. theed coronet and MOP cantinas where full of entertainers. Image desiggners where not as hard to find, Sl where allways around, and DOCs man there was a doc in just about every star port that had heavy trafic if not 2 or 3.

even with all the benifits, no one kept a profession for long, players had no idea how close they where to unlocking i remember many times watching in guild chat as a excited player who made it to silent mastered another profession hoping it would be the last and the heart break they experinced when they had to start all over
