Thread: Ok, I have been doing this ALL wrong.

I have unlocked 3 branches in CP, and 3 in ER.


To fill them, I went MBH/MR/Pistols xxx4, but it occurred to me, I have this all wrong.


If I would have gone TKM/MFencer/MSwords, then I would have gotten 1.2 million x 3, Combat xp ? (900k?)



Needless to say, I will cap the rest of my rifle tonight, and begin the process of grinding out to finish my new temp.

1,200,000 + 1,200,000 + 1,200,000 + 300,000 = 3,900,000 (remember that combat XP capps at 300,000)


divide by 30 cause we got screwed like that


130,000 FS xp


not sure where the 900k came from.

As MBH/MRifle/Pistols I can cap 900k combat. I wasnt sure why MBH is different from everything else, but the 130k FS is better than 110k FS. And the template really looks like a great tank template.

that not withstanding . . . capping the three weapons at 1.2mil (which BTW you only need 4/0/0/0 in any of the elites to get the 1.2 mil cap) will still only generate 360,000 combat xp . . . so you must be capping out alot more than just those 3 weapons. IMO its no longer practicle to try to cap combat XP once you cap all your other weapons.


just food for thought before you possibly gimp youself to grind out new ways to grind FS xp.

Combat XP does not cap at 300k.


If it did it would not be possible to become a Master BH as the Master box requires 340k of Combat XP.

must be a bounty hunter thing then . . . all the players I know . . . who aren't BHs cap at 300K . . . as do I

Combat XP capp is 300k for everyone but BH/SL. They both capp at 900k Combat, due to the master box requiring Combat xp.

The thing is, the change to the rate for combat exp makes taking it into considering pretty stupid really, no offense. It accrues at 1/10th the rate of your regular experience, so I think usually you are going to cap out on your other experience types long before you cap Combat exps. Of course its nice to be able to add a bit more FS experience due to whatever Combat you have built up, but really you are going to cap the rest then either wait a long time trying to build up the cap on combat, or more likely just go to the village and exchange your weapons exps.

So if you want a good grinding template, pick it for the other types of exps, and just treat Combat exps as nice to haves when you get there. Otherwise you are wasting time capped on everything else while you try to cap combat. With the 300k limit I am sure you can cap it, but with the 900k limit, its not practical most of the time I bet.
