ok, i got this remote from a friend..so it will still work in 1-2 hours? or do i need a frequency code then go to the capt for a remote of my own? if so..what exactly do i need to kill to get the code? been killing NPCs outside the base for awhile now (kiwi's malkocs spiders etc)

As long as its the "remote" and not a "frequency" it will work and as soon as base respawns it will work on that base

To get frequencies kill animals wont help you have to kill sith

i hate that quest.best of luck to ya, and i hope your not capturing the commander.

alright thanks, guess ill be waiting a long time here then lol

When i did i had an option to either capture the commander or destory the sheild or something along that nature. not knowing anything about the quest i chose capture the commander. i've read that they gave the mission some fixes but i vowed that i would never attempt that quest again haha. basically i walked the guy to just outside of the village and he commited sucide on me and i failed. you'll want to do some research and find the closest base to the village for your server, and then i seen a post where some one mapped out a route for the commander by making waypoints(he don't like to travel up or down hills). so while your waiting for the spawn you could map out a easy path with no hills back to the village, just create waypoints to guide you on your path. and call in some from friends to help you escote him back, cause you'll be attacked my sith while walking back so your friend could deal with them while you and the commander keep walking. thats about the best advice i could give ya

You have to capture him if you do it with a friend your friend does 1/2 and u do other 1/2 and you get a crystal and a buff crystal

Do some reading on the phase 3 quest from the stickies above and you will find answers to your questions. You have to kill Sith Shadow Pirates that are 250 meters or less from any of the bases on Dathomir. I would suggest killing them until you loot about 8-10 frequency code disks. Then turn them in and get a bunch of different named tools from the Sgt. at the village and go to the closest base you can find. (all of the locations to the bases are posted somewhere on the force sensitive forums). Just find the base with the same name as your tool that shuts down the shields. This quest is very easy with two people. Me and a guildie had no problems with it and had it completed in 30 minutes once we had the right tool and base location.

Also if you get a message thattheres to much electronic interference or something like that you will need to destroy some of the surveillance droids that have the base name. I tryed yesterday and couldn't use the remote untill we took out a few of them.
