Okay, so I did the capture-the-commander quest withmy main toona year ago with no problems, and now I'm doing it again with my unlocked alt for the crystals, and for the fun of it. First time around, I and my helpers escorted him from the farthest Sith Shadow base on the map and made it back in good order. I liked the quest and the process of shepherding the commander back to the base so much, I volunteered to help close to a dozen other players with the quest since then.
This time around, my first crack at the quest had us extricating him from a base on the plains a few clicks west of the Dathomir Tarpits POI, about 6000 meters from the village. No problem, I thought. Flat ground all the way to the village, not as far as my first time... right?
Wrong.
Forty-five minutes after the guy crunches his poison pill, we're about 1500 meters out from the village and the guy keels over and croaks.
The guy's slow amble is unchanged from previously bugged phases. Yeah, he went up steep inclinesmuch better than he did the previous phase, but at the slow overall pace he maintains (a slow amble), there is no way he can get back to the village from the outlying bases in the allotted time frame. When I did it the first time, he would actually RUN. Looks like that's been disabled. In a nutshell, we covered 4500 meters in 45 minutes. That's a ridiculous one hundred meters a minute! Which means there's precisely THREE Sith Shadow bases within range of this quest -- all heavily camped.
Good job, devs.
