You wanna know why it pisses some people off (not me though - I was cheering YAY!)?


The FS Grind before AND after the CU has got to be one of the most painful experiences in video game history. Myself, along with many others, spent countless hours killing quenkers on dantooine in the pre-CU days, and bols and gurks in the post -CU days. EVERYDAY, killing that same mob, over and over and over again, 3-6 hours a day, for MONTHS!


I remember back in August when I was 1 week away from banking all of my necessary FS XP, I was overjoyed that soon it would all be over. Then they made that Combat XP conversion rate change, effectively turning my 7 days left, into 14 days left. And I just couldn't handle it! Even 7 more days of it. I was done. I stopped playing.


I had a blast playing the free 3 weeks in EQ1 in August, then had a blast playing WOW, and now COH/COV. Since my account was still active, I still did log in for the last phase 3 quest, and was intending to log in for next weeks phase 4 quest (my last unlock). But I didn'tknow how to get that last 400k of FS xp that I needed, because I ABSOLUTELY refused to kill another bol or piket or gurk!


Now I am cheeringbecause I don't have to! On the 15th I can just respec Jedi! But I can see where all the hate comes from,becauseALL of that work that I put into this character was done for NOTHING. I really hope, like when the Jedi revamp went in and they gave bonuses to people who had mastered some of theprofessions, that they do the same for us FS people.

In a way the Pre-CU2 jedis will still be stronger and have a biger advantage over FS jedi. And the elder jedi get some new jedi roabs and two characters, While the post-cu jedi only get jedi.... So in a way the elder jedi are still victorious.

i hope for all the work some guys have done there will be a regular Phase Change, but i also hope there is nothing about speed up.


just keep in mind you will be able (if SOE dont lie again and i´m right) to respec your current FS Char to a FS-CU2 Jedi with an equal combat level, so why you guys are pissed? you are CL 80 and get the last unlocks for free and end up as CL 80 Jedi, lol

Hehe that's exactly what i ment though, Since the elder jedi will know more about the jedi system then a probably regular FS like me that has grind and only has grinding on there mind lol, a jedi should be able i think to cope with the new CU for i have tested it on the TC. And the jedi system still almost blows away almost all the professions. thats how it should stay for the elder jedi, Still in controle

Iread they are trying for release before the 22nd and around the 15th. i have all my unlocks but if i grand as much as possible i can get done with fs xp by the 15th. i will need 1 day for the old man and 8 hours for trials. so im hoping for a delay, double xp, or to kill myself in this grind. i have multi-acounts so xtra slots dont mean crap i just want the vet jedi reward becouse i used my time to help people. only grinding when i had personal time. now it looks like im getting the shaft for helping SOE make this "more a group oriented game".
