Bring some friends with you, but u must SOLO the crystals, no one can help you ar the quest would get bugged. As soon as u destroy the crystals mel will agro you, the is when your friends must tank and kill him, hit him with a ranged weapon and wait for the reward

I got some advice from the forums from an earlier post so I'll pass it on. I finally finished the quest last night and I did it solo - How? Don't worry about the bugged crystals. Don't worry about the thugs. Don't even worry about Daktar. Get on your speeder and get really close to Mellichae until he targets you. Drag him away to where you know there are some NPCs. This could be a problem for those that don't have any NPCs within 400m because that's the point that Mellichae will stop following you. The NPCs also have to be red.However, they don't have to be a very high level because, for some reason, Mellichae is really weak against NPCs. Fly in behind the NPCs so that Mellichae has to run through them to get to you. Once he engages them and is pre-occupied - LOG OUT AND BACK IN. Don't exit the game, just log. For some reason, this shuts off his auto-heal. Now, get off your speeder and pound the heck out of him while he is still pre-occupied. I brought him down in a little under3 minutes.

i think that might be technically classed as exploiting. logging out and back in to disable his auto heal doesnt sound like any part of any game mechanism to me. i'd be careful using that method and even more careful running around the forums telling people about it

True, but until they fix the bug - the only thing left is an exploit. Am I missing something here?

that's one way of looking at it, but i feel it's not the correct one, and i doubt SOE will see it that way. i know people who have killed mel without logging off, just plain and simple shooting with guns.

i tried it 4x times now ,there is 1 green chrystal that wont break and as long that isnt destroyed no use or point trying to have a go at the next in line , pls if there is anyone who can help me out here ,i tried it all ,lure the mobs on him,the disconnect thing ,etc.,etc.., etc............

if anyone know how to do this under the current system pls do ,since its been driving me crazy ,i grinded for 4 months then when i had 5 unlock's and all 5 filled + one complete branch fs xp banked ,CU came with rollback ,so i lost 1.8 mil fs xp and 2 skills ,got back to the new grind and started again , then unlocked my 6th filled him and wxaited 2 day's for the old man ,and now THIS B.S. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
people are gettin demotivated and no longer interrested as it going now i think i will soon quit SWG ,frankly im so f**kin sick of it ,im lately no longer in a mood to even look at a game but since i play this 2 years now and put alot of effort in my toon i really want to get my paddie now ,you know ?.............
im out for a chronic break ^^

What is exploiting ?? grinding 6 months to get somewhere and be bugged??

IT IS A EXPLOIT TO ASK PPL MONEY FOR CRAP THAT DONT WORK!!!!!!
