ok heres the deal. i want a better profession than pistoleer. im having to drop to many of the skill boxs to get other things. im looking for a new templete that includes commando 4/0/0/0 and novice medic at the minimum. Ive been looking and well i think ive narrowed it down to swordsmen and riflemen. Please id like your input on a new templete that has the ability to do the higher level content such as kryats and the DWB

master fencer/ master swordsman/ 4040 pistoleer/ novice medic
+94 melee defense
+86 ranged defense
+90 defense vs stun
+80 defense vs posture change (down)
+100 defense vs dizzy
+125 defense vs knockdown
+90 defense vs blind
+110 counterattack
+115 dodge
Get yourself an acklay stun baton and an acklay power hammer.....some 80% base armor...some stim b's....
You should be able to solo krayts if you keep it intimidated and use warcry. keep using headhits with thepower hammeror body hits with the stun baton....whichever does more damage. DWB will also be easier.
You also have novice medic so you can heal yourself if you start getting hit hard. This template also works well in PVP.
Try it out you should have some fun with it.

only problem is theres not the commando 4/0/0/0 that i wanted as well

teras kasi, master marksmen, commando 4/0/4/0 and novice medic? might have some left over skill points /shrug

try TKM, master medic, and 4/0/0/0 commando

So I wanted to ask some opinions. I am struggling with a templete and needed an expert opinion
I prefer PvE but also PvP with groups
I was thinking of 3 templete variations. All start with MLS
1) MLS
MDefender
Healer 4004
2) MLS
Defender 4404
Healer 2004
Enhance 0004
3) MLS
Defender 3004
Enhancer 4004
Healing 2004
4) MLS
Master Healer
Enhancer 4004
I am looking for a templete that will work best with my style of play. I am kind of a stand and deliver fighter, not much of a runner, but Will adapt to the best tactics. Can you give me advice as to which templete may fit my needs, or if you have another suggestion please I would appreciate it

1 or 4
1 requires lots of holocrons for replenishing force and burst run food.
4 is a good old FOTM, nice overall template.

2 & 3 would never work for me. Although the healing delays are ridiculous - Force Rejuv 3 (3xxx) is possibly one of my favorite jedi skills. Being able to slap a 1500 heal on yourself whether your standing up or KD is extremely nice.

LOl if you want mainly pve and useful in group pvp than go 0/4/4/0 powers. You get weaken which could help 1v1 and an area inimdate plus you totally pwn all creatures in pve.

My template is going to be for PVE, and pvp in groups. Its
MLS
4/2/0/4 Healer
4/0/0/3 Enhancer
0/0/4/0 Powers
Area intimidate is 66% damage reduction for 2 minutes, plus it lowers the enemy's defenses for that time also. I will be able to run fast, channel, clear all states except fire, and heal all pools for 1500.
Also I will be able to heal my own wounds and BF, which can accumulate quite quickly when a CM is around.

Cool good coments. So if I use annimal attack and the animals kill a target do I get the jedi XP for it?
As far as a powers 0440 build what would you suggest I do to fill up the rest of the SP

ask wookieogre, he had a pretty good one. BUt it'd go somethig like MLS/ Powers:0/4/4/0, Enhancer: 3/0/0/2, Healer: 4/0/0/4
