Add the newbie quests from the Mos Eisley Mayor and the Newbie NPC. I went back and did those because I was told that this might be true, and I am now glowie and had my visit from the old man but have yet to start dying repeatedly to the Siths
I have only done Jabba's Themepark, the Imperial Themepark and Nym's Themepark of the traditional required content elements but with the addition of these two beginner missions I got glowie. My wife and I had tried to do the Warrens but found them so laggy (over a minute delay on response to anything) that it was impossible to consider doing them - a combo of the many NPCs and the people hunting in there I guess.
So when I read of the alternative missions I thought it was worth it to try. I did the beginner mission fro Trehla <whatever> and then followed that up with the series from the Mayor. I think the quests are named The Mos Eisley Mystery and Secret of Mos Eisley.
Now to get from CL14 to CL80 while getting slaughtered by Siths - and lose my (very expensive grind to) Weaponsmith in the process sadly ![]()

Can you get glowy in any way without a profession badge? I'm stuck in respec mode, and as such, even though I've completed 3 friggin professions through the double experience grind, because I have a respec available, I am unable to get a profession badge. Do I have to wait until the accounts respec period expire, and blow the token respec as well, or can I just double up on content badges or the like?
The current test center notes say this will be fixed and you will get Profession Badges during respec period. So keep your fingers crossed as I don think there are any substitutes for the profession badge requirment.

I understand that if you die as a Jedi then it is perminent...is this true? I would like to be a Jedi, but I don't want to risk loosing my fav. charactor
Once upon a time, looooooong ago this was the case, but that system is ancient history now. Currently you aren't penalized for PvE death, and are penalized an amount of xp that is related to your bounty mission value when killed by a BH.

The short answer is no...if you die as a jedi it is never perminent with the current system. You will go to the cloner like everyone else. The only thing you can loose is jedi XP when you die. It used to be different and Jedi would get "permadeath" after 3 deaths.
