Thread: how do u farm crystals and pearls?

im new to fs, how do ya do it? what skills or requirements do u have to have to do it?

No skills or requirements, but it's best to be level 80 or so. Go out to tatooine and farm Krayt Dragons for Pearls, and good crystals generally drop off of high-level NS now, I think...

I would like to know where crystals can be found now too. I have a few from some BH mission but those are 1 out of 100.

They gave the Krayts a added umph and take a bit longer to solo now. Pearls are better than crystals, but at this point with them only getting as high as good either will do. Best thing is to get in a groups with a good bunch of friends or guildies and have a arrangement of pearl/crystal drops. We usually go out (3 or 4 peeps) and go in order for pearl drops going after krayts.We set everything to lotto and everything else is random.

If you want to get clear crystals go to a player city on Lok and take LVL 80 or higher Canyon Corsair base missions. Doing this you can usually grab about 2 crystals per hour (was doing it with a Jedi who could area attack). Might take longer depending on your profs or be more random if you go with a group. When doing it solo with a CL80 toon you get about 2 or 3 Corsairs spawning at each base so you can take them fairly easy.
In bigger groups you get 6 or 7 Corsairs per base but of course you then have to share any crystals with the group as well.... just something to think about.
