Folks I got my main to unlock with 32 professions back before the change, I got a idea the other day to now get my main FS and thinking that with him having 32 professions I would get 6 free tree's unlocked. Upon getting into the village Paemos isnt showing me any free unlocks! Is this normal or a bug? any body got a idea?

you already got your unlock. you can't unlock twice from the same account.

For you to get your main to jedi you have to grind it from the start.

Theoretical situation folks - a newbee jedi gets like 5 mil points into debt, by this time is actually getting decent at surviving as a jedia nd staying off the boards. Can I delete this char and start a new ALREADY FS jedi? or would I have to do the jedi grind all over?

Nope, if you had a pre-pub9 jedi you cannot delete it and make a new char and have jedi, and if you delete your main jedi char you lose all progress up to the point you are at.

you would have to grind it off or regrind the FS XP and village over again with your second character who then become your main less you delte that one too.

if you read the jedi FAQ and follow the rules of vis and dont run around with your saber and robes showing (even tho it doesnt grant you vis) your odds of staying off the terminals till you hit knight are in the 90% range.

it isnt THAT difficult and if a jedi is bad enough at being a jedi then perhaps your better off with a less challenging profession like Bounty Hunter
