Just wondered if its any good? I got the scout line, so i can max out with 30k scout xp, how much FS xp does that go to? Like Unarmed xp is 3:1, what is scout xp?

Im pretty sure its 8:1 or 5:1, but i think its 8:1 and if you feel like using maskscent all the time and harvesting resources from the creatures go ahead. But you cant get Combat Prowess tress filled up on Scout exp so thats a problem especiialy for me b/c its all im doing is Combat.

Scout XP is traded is for FS XP at a rate of 8:1, which means when you cap out your Scout XP at 30000 you've only earned 3750 FS XP. To save you the math calculation, that would mean 340 trips to the Village to train Novice of a FS line plus four boxes.

Not worthwhile.

Scout XP is better used as a supplement to your current choice of skills. For instance, I'm working on FS skills both in Enhanced Reflexes and Heightened Senses. As I run missions and fight creatures for unarmed and combat XP to trade in for Reflexes, I harvest hide from the creatures I've killed for a modest scout XP gain. I can easily cap my Scouting XP on a single cap of weapons XP, and when I trade in my XP at the Village I get a "free" 3750 heightened senses FS XP. I can also sell the hide on the bazaar for 10cpu, typically.

I primarily get my Senses FS XP from my Musician mastery, but that extra 3750 XP every time I trade in weapons/combat XP helps. Every drop in the bucket helps to fill it, in other words.

Just that i wanted to know. You know rancors gives about 1500-1900 xp pr. if you kill them fast enough that caps scout xp in about 18 rancors, so if you are close to the village all the time, its in fact okay to trade...

senses xp is a pain to get.

i also have a scout 4 box so i get a nifty 3750xp when i convert, but im a smuggler so i get to convert the slicing xp too.
its a better ratio at 3:1 but i did the math and it still sucks.
to fill a senses branch, it takes 14700 slices. not including the novice box.
if you neeed novice, add another 600 slices.

at least slicing caps at 100k xp, so i dont have to go convert every hour or so.

Bug fixes. Heh! Smuggling. Heh! A Jedi craves not these things.

My SWG Observations

If they stopped the expansions for one year and gave quality revamps to the professions that need it most, many people would resubscribe.
With all the resubs, and the new players, there would then be plenty of money to hire enough people to do 2-4 quality revamps per year plus 1-2 larger expansions per year and/or 2-4 smaller expansions per year, and not give the BigWigs a pay cut. (Possibly even an increase)

But if I am at the village. Take my swoop drives out until i meet some nasty creatures, jumps off kill 'em all, harvest. Go on until i cap, then im just next to the village so i can all the time get those smally xp...
