I unlocked Persuasion, yay! It's my first FS unlock, and I'm very happy about that. Now comes the hard part, filling all those boxes.
At the moment, I am a 0-0-4-2 Dancer. I have the Dancing/Entertainer Healing Experience to go to 1-1-4-2 Dancer if I should so choose. 94,000 Dancing and 74,000 healing XP, rounded down to nice pretty round numbers. That will translate to 16,800 (9,400 and 7,400) FS XP as of right now. So not even 2/5th of my Novice box. So here's my question. Which would be a more efficient use of my XP in the long-run, going all the way to Master Dancer and then grinding out the XP for the FS boxes, or just dumping the XP into FS now? I'm not really concerned with how fast it gets done, but why waste the XP?
Oh, and if it matters, I do plan to become a Master Dancer sooner or later anyway. So the XP used to fill up the Dancer boxes won't be going to waste if that is the more efficient route. I guess the real question is "Does the extra XP per tick from Master level dances justify the use of all the XP required to get to Master?"

If you plan to be a master dancer sooner or later, you might as well go all out dancing to enlarge the size of your dancing and healing pools.

The FS box will always be waiting for you so there's no rush to put your dancing/ent xp into the FS boxes yet. I'd use it toward mastering dancer then go hard for the FS boxes (however you 'go hard' in the entertainer world...)
All I can say is, 'good luck' and try to have fun while you do it cause I do know the combat grind really starts to grate after a while...

keep hold of that enthusiasm, and go for master dancer first. You will earn more xp faster this way and also increase the amount of xp you can earn in one go before having to convert. That way you'll spend less time going to and from the village and earn more xp for your work.

I would say don't screw around. The senses trees are the most god-forsaken, pain intensive ever developed. Go Doc 0400 and get yourself a deathbot (someone who you can kill and rez repeatedly). Otherwise, you will spend all of your time flying back and forth between the village and the science outpost. It takes over 100 exp fills to do it with doc, i don't even know what dancers would be subjected to.
