"Aproximately 3 years before the fall of the Republic and rise of the Galactic Empire, Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi's investigation of an exotictoxic dart led him to the remote planet of Kamino, birthplace of the infamous Grand Army of the Republic, the destroyers of the Jedi Order. Unbeknownst to Obi-Wan, the Kaminoans had long been intrigued with the concept of cloning someone sensitive to the Force, to see if it was possible to replicate the mysterious midichlorians, the source ofa Jedi's power. Very stealthily the Kaminoans retrieved a sample of Obi-Wan's DNA, and as soon as his departure was confirmed, their experiment began..."

5 full branches finished. Nearly double the fsxp required for final tree banked. Unlocks in phase III.

How bout them apples?

When I first started this game the role model from the SW universe that I tried to base my character on was Jango Fett(And I think I did a pretty good job. You can see him and his bio in the "unmasked/bio" link in my sig). Anyway, over time I decided that I wanted to play a Jedi. So instead of doing the village w/ my existing character who I spent so much time making into what he had become, I created a new character on a different server to become a Jedi with. The prequals(especialy ep III) have established Obi-Wan as my favorite Jedi, so I decided to model my second characterafter Obi-Wan. Just wanted to share my sillyness with the FS community, and perhaps we'll cross blades one day

The prequals(especialy ep III) have established Obi-Wan as my favorite Jedi, so I decided to model my guy after Obi-Wan. Now, I'm not saying this is some mirror image of Obi-Wan, just like my other guy wasnt a mirror image of Jango Fett, but still the closest I could come using this game's models/hair styles/etc. Heres what I came up with(the look is modeled after how Obi-Wan looked in ep III, not I or II):

OB1b

Anyway, I got all the badges and such to become glowy, have been doing the village ever since, and now have 5 full trees, with almost twice as much fsxp banked to get the last remaining tree I need, so as soon as phase III gets here is finaly time to unlock. Even though I have the capture commander mission 2 do, as well as the melliche exit quest, my guild is full of Jedi so I have no worries about being able 2 complete them. I've even decided my template and worked it all out w/ the template builder, the short and sweet FOTM:

Master Lightsaber(best speed and accuracy), Master Defender(best defense out there), Healer 3/0/0/0(good healer), Enhancer 0/0/0/2(channel).

Anyway, just thought I'd share my little sillyness w/ my FS compatriots. GL w/ the grind, maybe we'll cross blades one day!

As much as I can say I think your choice in role models was good, I don't understand why you feel the need to emulate characters already defined. I don't want to rag on your playstyle. It just seems a bit stiffling to not create your own toon and model him in a unique manner. I mean they DO say in the ads and whatnot for the game. It's 'your' story, not one thats already told in the movies/books. It's your $15 bucks, do what you like, just saying.

Hey as much as I am one for originality also. I think it's also just as much fun sometimes to put yourself in that favorite characters role. Thinking about things such as what would I do as Obi-Wan are a great way to waste much time in fantasy land day dreams...which is all this stuff really is anyway. Go for it I say...you are doing a great job.

I personally hate walking into town and finding characters named Obi-Jon, Obi-waner, Obi'wan, Qi'gon, Qi'bon, Qi'jon, Quigon, etc.

It just ruins the image of those characters for me. Especially when I read bios of these characters and they say they are "Qui-gon Jinns clone"....

But that's just an opinion, have fun

Oh, and that jedi build doesn't look like a FOTM....Master Lightsaber only adds a bit more dps and accuracy then having something like x/4/x/4. Most people go along the lines of x/4/x/4 lightsaber, MDEF, and whatever else in healer and enhancer. Hopefully Master Lightsaber will have more benefits soon.
