Thread: Old man ran away, what to do?

Well, i was sitting around waiting for the old man to finally show up, (now that ive finally completed all my FS grinding and ready for padawan). i got a bit bored just waiting and i saw some faction mobs so i figured why not. Soon as i start fighting, he shows up (well, actually three of him). No way i can get out of the fight any time soon post-CU, especially as a tkm/doc (everything takes forever) fighting about 12 dudes.
Anyway, he gets tired of waiting and says "i'll come back later" (after probably one full minute 
i thought old jedi were more patient than that). So when's he coming back? Any idea of a standard wait period on this?

ah ok, thats good. my guildees were saying at least 24 hours (which is bad during double xp week!!)

I don't want to sound like a negative Nancy to you, but I had this exact thing happen while I was getting my first visit. So it might actually happen differently since it's the second visit. I missed the first visit and it took four and a half days for him to come again... I was just a tad angry to say the least. I hope this doesn't happen to you, but that's personal experience!

but wait...if im just sitting afk, the old man will just stand there the whole time as long as i dont engage in combat right?
