Thread: Unable to get a FS quest in phase 2...

I logged on the day phase 2 went into effect and took the long ride out to the village. Upon getting there, I found I was unable to get any NPC to give me a quest. They all told me things like "Nice Job" and "Take a rest". I find this most interesting as I have never even completed a phase2 quest, much less even started one. I did the ranged acc quest during the very 1st phase 1, when the village went live, then had to quit the game until 2 weeks ago. Upon coming back, I found it was phase 1 and I completed the survival quest. I have not started any other quests, I have never done a phase 2 quest and the two quests I have done (From phase 1) are completed and done.
I decided to submit a ticket thinking I might be bugged somehow. I waited 32 hours for a response and when I finally got one, it said the following:
"This is CSR-**** at your service today. I am reviewing your issue reguarding your quest. I must inform you that this is a known issue and developers are working on it. I apologize for the inconvience that you are facing in the game. I assure you that this matter will be resolved soon. Your patience is highly appreciated in this regard.
If you have any other issues please feel free to file a new ticket.
All the best and have a safe journey in Star Wars Galaxies.

Don't get me wrong. This is not an attack on the CSR who delt with my ticket. They did a good job giving me a canned form letter response. I am rather irritated that I am completely unable to do any FS village quests now. I came back and starting paying to play again for one reason. To unlock jedi and have fun. As much as this process is gated by the 3+ week phase schedule, I find it completely rediculous to have major game stopping bugs in the core system of the FS village.
If any CSR is reading this, please tell me what step I need to take to enable my character to get a new quest this phase. I will, without a doubt, be cancelling my account if I am forced to sit out a phase due to incompetence on your end.
IF any player has the same problem and was able to get it resolved, please let me know how you did so.

Thats unfortunate. I submitted another ticket, as I read a post from someone who got a CSR to actually help him and clear a problem in his quest log. Hopefully I'll get a CSR who can help me this time. I really don't feel like grinding anymore, or playing for that matter, if I am going to be unable to unlock a skill this phase due to no fault of my own.

I've had the same problem. I've submited a ticket and CSRs fixed it for me. Be sure to write a good description of what is wrong ( i know it is pretty obviuos that u cannot get any quests ), write what u have done to try to get those quests, stuff like u died and then tried to talk to NPCs again, u went offplanet, u relogged 100 times, talked to paemos and the trainer to see if u have anything unlocked in this phase and can train it ect. U need to write EVERYTHING so that when a CSR will respond, he will be unable to suggest u anything and he/she will be forced to repiar the problem by him/herself.
That is whati did and i got it fixed next day and now i am waiting for the old pri..err man =]

Hah, thanks for the advice. I was pretty verbose in my latest ticket. Seems like its taking around 24 hours or so to get a response to the tickets however. If this one I have in queue at the momement doesnt get my character fixed, I guess I'll just have to keep submitting them.
At least you gave me hope that I might get fixed before the phase ends.
